A new study has found that the best time to decorating your home is when it’s open, so you don’t have to wait too long to enjoy the natural beauty.

A new study by the Australian Institute of Housing and Urban Research (AIFURI) has found a time-sensitive preference for living in a house that is not closed to the elements.

“If you’re looking for an alternative to living in your own home, it’s important to keep the environment natural,” said the study’s author, Dr. Michael Fries.

“So, what are some things that we can do to help us do that?”

To find out if a particular house is a good option for decorating, AIFURI asked over 600 people to pick out one from their top 20 favourite houses in Australia.

The results were fascinating.

“People who live in their own homes prefer open houses, even if it means a longer wait for the perfect moment to enjoy their home,” said Dr. Fries.

“For example, they’re more likely to enjoy having an open kitchen, open dining room, and open living room.

They’re more attracted to having open bedrooms and open baths.”

While open rooms and bedrooms tend to be less important than open living rooms, the same cannot be said for bathrooms.

“I find that open bathrooms are really important to me because they let me have a quiet space, they let you have privacy, and they’re beautiful,” said Jessica Glynn, who lives in Melbourne.

“It’s really important for my family to have privacy so that when I go out to the garden I don’t disturb them or hear them.”

Dr. Fues findings showed that, at least in some parts of the country, the open houses are considered more desirable than the closed ones.

“What I found in most places was that when people have a lot of open space, it makes them more attracted and they can enjoy it more.

That was really interesting,” said Glynn.

“But then there are some places where they want to close it down, like when you’re in a caravan park or a remote area, or when you have a big backyard or a lot in the way.”

So, how do you get the best out of your home when you’ve just moved?

Dr. James Bremner, a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Architecture, said that it’s all about taking the time to choose the perfect home for you.

“Open spaces are the most important ones, but if you’re not using them, it doesn’t matter what house you live in,” he said.

“If you don, you’re wasting your time.”

The study, titled, “Is a house the best place to live in 2018?”, was published online in the journal Housing Research.

The authors said it’s also important to look at whether the house you’re choosing is suitable for the age of the person living there.

“Some people want a house for their kids or grandchildren, while others prefer it for someone with the same lifestyle or preferences as they are,” said Fries, “So what you want to do is decide whether or not you’re comfortable with a house being a space for the whole family.”
