Joe Louis Park has been the home of the Detroit Red Wings since 1924.
They’ve been playing in it since 1932.
Now, with the franchise moving to the new Joe Louis arena in 2020, they’ll play their home games at Joe.
The new arena opened in 2019, and is expected to be a huge boost to the downtown area.
It also is the only NHL venue in the area to have a fully retractable roof, with an area of 2,000 seats.
The Red Wings have played their home hockey games at the Joe since 1924, and they’ll host their first game there in 2019.
The city of Detroit is hoping to host the 2020 Stanley Cup Final.
It will be the first time since the 1980s that the NHL has played in a stadium that can hold more than 100,000 people.
The Joe is located at 1110 West Michigan Avenue, and tickets for the 2019-20 season start at $30 each way.
Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster.
