By now, you may have heard of the growing trend of India’s fast food chains opening their doors in Indian cities.
Now, with some of the country’s best eateries already opening up in major cities, restaurants are being encouraged to offer up to 24-hour availability.
The idea behind the concept is to provide more options for customers to choose from, as well as to attract more tourists and locals.
For a start, these restaurants will offer a variety of items such as hot and cold breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
Some of the eateries will also be offering breakfast and dinner items at the same time.
A good example of a restaurant that is offering 24-hours availability is Waffle House, which is opening up its first location in Mumbai’s CBD in early July.
The restaurant, which has a staff of 10, is expected to have its first restaurant open by September.
The concept is in contrast to the current situation of Indian restaurants offering only one or two hours of service at a time, with only a few places offering a 30-minute breakfast or lunch service.
It’s a trend that will surely come to a head soon, as restaurants are beginning to open in cities across the country, like New Delhi and Mumbai, as the Indian government is considering introducing the 24-Hour Free Wi-Fi scheme.
